A natural meeting point

Geography has been kind to the Midlands. Birmingham sits close to the centre of the country, which means a vehicle leaving it has a head start on reaching almost anywhere else. There is no long run just to escape the region before the real journey begins.

• The M42 rings the south and east of Birmingham, tying the routes together and easing onward travel.
• The M1 carries traffic south east toward London and north toward Yorkshire and beyond.

From that knot of roads, a dedicated vehicle can pick a direct line to most corners of the country.

Put the central location and the motorway access together and you have a base built for reach. A job collected in the Midlands can be driven directly toward the North, the South, Wales or the West without detour, which keeps same-day timings realistic over real distance.
