FAQ

Driver questions,
answered.

Anything else — call 0330 113 2825, we answer 24/7.

What do I need to become a REMUX owner driver?

A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months (no more than 6 points), the right to work in the UK with a National Insurance number, Hire & Reward and Goods in Transit insurance, a reliable van and a smartphone.

What insurance do owner drivers need?

Two covers: Hire & Reward vehicle insurance (to legally carry goods for payment) and Goods in Transit insurance. If you don't have them yet, specialist courier insurers such as Zego can arrange both — you can apply now and sort cover during onboarding.

How and when do I get paid?

Weekly, direct to your bank account. Every job has its price agreed before you move, so you always know what a run pays.

What kind of work will I get?

Dedicated, single-job runs — same-day, overnight and specialist work — not multidrop parcel rounds. One collection, one delivery, and the job is yours alone.

Do I need my own van?

For most work, yes — small van up to Luton and above. If you don't have a van yet, apply anyway: tell us on the form and we'll talk through the options before you commit to a vehicle.

I run several vans — can my fleet sign up?

Yes — fleet operators and subcontractors are welcome. Select 'I run multiple vans' on the form and we'll set your whole fleet up with our desk.

How fast is onboarding?

Once your documents check out, most drivers are set up and taking work within a few days — the application itself takes about two minutes.

Am I employed or self-employed?

Owner drivers work with us on a self-employed basis — you choose your availability and the desk keeps the work coming when you're on.

Vans wanted
nationwide.

Same-day work is growing across the UK — apply now and the driver team will call you back.
