Two-man delivery
explained.
Some loads simply can't be handled safely by one person — that's where a two-man crew earns its place.
When you need two people
Heavy, bulky, fragile or multi-item consignments often need a second pair of hands to load, carry and position safely — think large equipment, furniture, heavy pallets or anything that has to be placed rather than dropped.
If lifting it alone would risk the goods, the property or the person, it's a two-man job.
What's involved
A two-man crew handles the load at both ends, often with a tail-lift vehicle to raise it from the ground to the deck. They can navigate stairs, tight access and awkward spaces, and place the item where it needs to go rather than leaving it at the kerb.
Tell the operator about access and where the item is going so the right kit and crew arrive.
Booking it
When you book, describe the weight, dimensions and any access challenges. The job is still a dedicated, direct run — just with the people and equipment to handle it properly, tracked and proven on delivery.
